Hugh Denton
Hugh started his career as a clerk at DLA Piper, before working as a graduate lawyer at prominent commercial firms in Adelaide and the Crown Solicitor’s Office of South Australia. While completing his postgraduate studies, Hugh worked in commercial law, gaining experience in corporate structures, commercial law and taxation law. Following completion of postgraduate studies, Hugh went on to work in-house.
While working in-house, Hugh gained particular insight into M&A, restructuring, asset realisation and litigation.
In 2017, Hugh relocated to Melbourne in private practice, before establishing his own firm. Hugh's experience ranges from M&A, corporate & commercial, restructuring advisory and litigation and disputes.
Hugh balances the commercial realities of his clients with the technical expertise to provide the best outcome to clients.
Hugh takes pride in going the extra mile for his clients and in understanding their needs and delivering their outcomes.
International Team
Our team in Hong Kong specialise in commercial transactions and M&A, with collectively 10 years' experience working with East Asian markets and further experience in the dynamic supply chain industry, specifically in the fields of food & beverages and general consumer goods. Our international team are native speakers of English and Chinese Mandarin, with years of experience in Chinese-English (and vice versa) translations/interpretations, including written translations and live interpretations.
